CLEO Systems hosted its latest CLEO SOLO EPS User Group at the Royal Society of Medicine in London in November.
All CLEO SOLO EPS customers were invited to attend the event, which featured a variety of presentations from the CLEO Systems team and customer representatives, as well as a series of interactive workshops.
The event was attended by a range of CLEO SOLO EPS users from across a wide range of trusts including North East London NHS Trust, Whittington Health NHS Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Trust and Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS Trust. We were also delighted to welcome attendees from the NHS England Digital Medicines team.
During the session, the CLEO Systems team shared updates on the CLEO SOLO EPS product roadmap and ongoing developments, including enhancements to Repeat and Homecare prescribing functionality as well as a session with a strong focus on clinical safety. The workshop offered deep dive into Local Formulary Management.
CLEO SOLO EPS is an independent electronic prescribing solution designed for secondary care outpatient settings. It integrates seamlessly with electronic patient record systems, streamlining the process of sending FP10 prescriptions to community pharmacies. The solution delivers significant benefits, including an improved patient experience, the elimination of lost or stolen prescriptions, and enhanced clinical safety.
The morning highlights included a recap of the group’s progress since the last meeting, led by Sara Malavasi, EPS Product Owner at CLEO Systems. Key topics covered were advancements in repeat prescribing refinement and homecare prescribing, with additional insights anticipated from invited speakers from NHS Trusts and NHS England.
After a networking lunch, the afternoon focused on user engagement, collaboration and clinical safety. Adil Satwilkar, Clinical Safety Officer at CLEO Systems, led a clinical feedback session, which proved to be an excellent session and enabled a feedback loop from trusts. The day concluded with an interactive Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to address their queries directly with the CLEO team.
Karen Ventura, Product Director at CLEO Systems, shared her thoughts: “We were really delighted to engage with customers who joined us for a very vibrant User Group meeting. We received fantastic feedback on EPS and it was great to hear firsthand how the CLEO systems team can help develop and deliver innovative solutions to solve problems for our dedicated healthcare professionals. The opportunity to engage in and transform processes together is so valuable”.
