CLEO Systems has welcomed two new non-executive directors to its board: Bal Claire and Stewart Baird, who are joining the team to support the ongoing growth and innovation. These strategic appointments signal the company’s ongoing commitment to add additional commercial expertise to its leadership team.
Bal is an experienced advisor and angel investor who helps organisations and startups achieve growth and success. With a distinguished career in telecommunications, he leverages his expertise to develop, support, and shape innovative ventures, driving value across diverse private and public industry sectors. Bal is driven by a commitment to creating measurable value for his clients, inspiring success through his leadership and results-oriented approach.

Stewart has been an investor and active board member for the last 20 years and previously ran a private equity investment house servicing the small and medium size businesses in the UK. In his investor role, Stewart has sat on the Boards of several technology and software businesses as well as covering other sectors. More recently Stewart has been a Non-Executive Director and subsequently Chairman of the Board at East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust.
