CLEO EPS Expands Portfolio with New ADHD Service Contracts
CLEO Systems announces the recent signing of three contracts for ADHD clinic providers for CLEO EPS with a further five clinics due to go live during the coming months. For ADHD clinics, where patients often require ongoing medication and regular prescription renewals, the efficiency and reliability of CLEO EPS electronic prescribing is particularly valuable.
CLEO EPS is used in a wide range of secondary care outpatient and community settings, enabling the secure transfer of patient data and patients’ prescriptions to be entered and sent electronically to a nominated community pharmacy of a patient’s choice. The Owl Centre, Skylight Psychiatry and Elixir Medics are already using CLEO EPS to help support their ADHD provision.
The system supports the growing number of independent and community-based ADHD providers by streamlining administrative processes. By removing the need for paper prescriptions, clinics reduce manual handling, minimise the risk of errors and free up clinical and administrative staff to focus more time on patient care rather than paperwork.
CLEO EPS allows clinicians to issue prescriptions quickly and securely during or immediately after a consultation, ensuring patients can access their medication without unnecessary delays. ADHD centres realise a range of benefits from risk reduction to no longer dealing with lost prescriptions to increased patient satisfaction. They have seen a reduction in costs as there is no longer a requirement for sending out prescriptions by post or courier.
"We found using CLEO EPS all very intuitive and easy. Most of our prescribers have NHS backgrounds and are used to prescribing, so it’s all been a really positive project with great outcomes."
"We are finding that a growing number of ADHD centres are interested in using CLEO EPS because it provides a simple, secure way to manage prescriptions electronically. Patient experience is vastly improved, as they can collect their prescriptions when and where they want, while clinics benefit from a more efficient and reliable prescribing process."
